How can we help?

TiniDot Quiz is made by a very small team, and every message goes straight to a person who can actually fix the thing. Expect a reply within two working days.

Report a wrong answer

Quickest from inside the app: About & feedback at the bottom of the home screen, then Send feedback. Pick “A wrong answer” and include the country, the level number, and the question text — that is enough for us to find it in the bank and correct it. Corrections to a question pack reach your phone on their own, without an app update. Email works too if you would rather have a reply.

A Challenge match would not start

Both players need a working connection and the same app version. If the versions differ the match is refused on purpose, because the two phones would otherwise derive different questions. Update both and try a fresh room code.

Delete your data

Uninstalling the app deletes the copy on your device. Your leaderboard scores, progress backup and any feedback you sent are held against an anonymous ID on our server — email us your display name and we will delete those too, along with the analytics events described in the privacy policy.

Common questions

Before you write in

I lost my progress after changing phones. Can you restore it?

Usually not, and we want to be straight about why. The app backs your progress up, but against an anonymous ID that lives on the device — there is no login, so on a new phone there is nothing to prove which backup was yours. We may well still hold it; we have no way to know it belongs to you.

It is the honest trade-off for having nothing to sign up for. A real sign-in is the feature most likely to change that, and it is the first thing on the list if the game finds an audience.

A Pro subscription is different. That belongs to your Google account, not to the phone, so it comes back on a new device with Restore purchases — along with any question packs it entitles you to.

My streak reset even though I played.

A streak advances on the first quiz you finish in a calendar day — any country quiz or the Daily Challenge. Starting one and leaving it does not count. If you did finish one and the count still moved backwards, please email us with the date and your time zone; that would be a bug and we would want it.

Where did my Miles go?

Losing a Challenge match costs the 120 Miles you staked. Your Explorer level is calculated from lifetime Miles rather than your balance, so a lost match never demotes you — the level and the “mi” total on the home screen only ever go up.

A question felt unfair or out of date.

Send it over. Borders, capitals, currencies and record-holders all move, and a question that was right when it was written can quietly go stale. We would rather fix one than leave it in the bank.

Will there be an iPhone version?

Android first. The app is built with React Native, so an iOS build is a realistic follow-up rather than a rewrite — but we are not promising a date we cannot keep.

Can I turn the sounds or the reminder off?

Reminders are off unless you opt in, and there is at most one a day — never on a day you have already played. You can revoke the permission at any time in Android’s notification settings for TiniDot Quiz. Sound follows your device’s ringer and volume.

Still stuck?

Tell us your device model, Android version, and what you were doing when it went wrong. That is usually enough.
