Refund Policy
Effective: 24 August 2026
This policy covers purchases of TiniDot Quiz Pro subscriptions and one-off purchases, sold by Tinidot (“we”, “us”). Where you bought it decides who refunds it, so that is the first thing to sort out.
1. Bought on this website
Website purchases are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record and the reseller of record for those orders.
You can have a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason at all. You do not need to explain yourself and we will not ask you to. Email makarakao@gmail.com with the email address you paid with, or use the receipt Paddle sent you — it has a link to request a refund directly. Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
After 14 days we will still consider a refund, and in practice we grant them for anything that is our fault: the app not working on your device, a purchase that did not unlock, or being charged twice.
2. Bought inside the app
Purchases made through the app are sold by Apple or Google under their own terms, and we cannot refund them ourselves — only the store that took the money can.
- Google Play — request a refund at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. Google refunds most purchases automatically within 48 hours of buying, and reviews requests after that.
- App Store — request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Write to us anyway if a store turns you down and you think it got it wrong. We can tell them what we see on our side, which sometimes changes the answer.
3. Free trials
Pro starts with a seven-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you are never charged. The trial is offered once per account, per store.
4. Cancelling a subscription
Cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and Pro keeps working until that period runs out.
- Android — Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- iPhone — Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Bought on this website — the link in your Paddle receipt opens a page where you can cancel or update your card.
We do not refund the unused part of a period you have already been billed for, except within the 14 days above or where the law where you live says otherwise. If a renewal genuinely caught you out — you had not opened the app in months and did not mean to renew — write to us. That one we tend to refund.
5. Price changes
If we raise the price of a plan you are already on, you will be told before it takes effect and it will not apply to you until you accept it or renew after that notice.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. If you are in the UK or EU, you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase of digital content, which sits alongside the policy above.
7. Contact
Tinidot — makarakao@gmail.com. We answer refund requests within two business days, and usually the same day.
Plain English: bought it here, 14 days, no questions. Bought it in the app, Apple or Google has to do it — but tell us if they say no and we will help.
