Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of TiniDot Quiz (“the app”), a mobile game published by Tinidot (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The licence you get

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. We keep all other rights.

2. What you agree not to do

• Copy, sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the app or its question content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law says you may.
• Interfere with the matchmaking service used by Challenge matches, or attempt to gain access to it other than through the app — including flooding it with connections, forging match traffic, or trying to read another player’s data.
• Use the app to harass another player through a Challenge room, or to send anything unlawful.

3. Age

The app is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should have a parent or guardian read these terms with you.

4. No sign-up, and what that means for your progress

There is no account to create: no email, no password, no social login. The app instead makes an anonymous ID for itself the first time it needs a server, and your stars, streaks, Miles, stamps and settings are backed up against that ID.

That ID lives on the device, so it does not survive an uninstall or a move to a new phone. If you reinstall or switch phones, treat your progress as gone — we hold a backup but no way to prove it is yours, because we never learned who you are. A paid Pro subscription is different: it belongs to your Google account and comes back with Restore purchases.

5. Miles and in-game items

Miles, stars, badges, stamps and achievements are game features with no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for money, or transferred between devices, and we may adjust how they are earned in future updates.

6. Price and purchases

The app is free to play and every country is unlocked from the start. It currently shows no advertising and offers nothing for sale. An optional Pro plan and one-off purchases will be offered with the public store release; the free game will not lose anything it gives you today when that happens.

Purchases made inside the app are processed by Google Play or the App Store under their own terms. Purchases made on this website are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who act as merchant of record for those orders. Either way, our Refund Policy explains how to get your money back and who to ask. We will update the store listing and the What's new · Privacy Policy before any of this ships.

7. Accuracy of the questions

The app contains 14,775 questions about 197 countries, written and checked by hand. We work hard to keep them accurate and current, but the world changes and mistakes happen. The content is provided for entertainment and general interest — please do not rely on it for academic, professional, travel or legal purposes. Found an error? Tell us and we will fix it.

Country names, borders and groupings shown in the app follow common international usage. They are not a political statement of any kind.

8. Availability

Country quizzes and the Daily Challenge work offline. Challenge matches need a network and depend on a matchmaking service that we may change, interrupt or discontinue at any time, without notice and without liability.

9. Warranty and liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost game progress. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Ending the licence

You can end it at any time by uninstalling the app. We can end it if you materially breach these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and material changes will be noted in the app’s store listing. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not remove any consumer protection rights you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
